Minutes:

1.       Prayer:7.10pm

2.       President's briefing: Meeting was presided by Mrs. Hema  Mareddy. She emphasized on importance of each EC member's presence in each EC meeting and their involvement in day –to day activities of Temple. She also asked each member to take additional responsibility. She asked every member to discuss their responsibility and the items they are working on.

3.       Approval of last meeting minutes. It was approved with slight modification of point 11 which stated that housekeeping, cleanliness and Temple policies are each devotee's responsibility and they all should respect that as their own Temple.

4.       Committee Report: Task oriented discussion by each committee lead for maximum of 2 minutes.

X – Activity started.

 

1. Ray Klotkowski: Safety & Security Committee Lead. He has been taking care of various safety and security aspects of the temple. He is monitoring it on day today basis. He has been working on shoe issues for quite a sometime but his plans are failing. He suggests for a strong approach to this issue. He also mentioned about roof leaking and he is working with EC president to fix it. He also discussed about Trash issues.
2. Amulya Das: Secretary EC Committee. He is organizing the EC meetings with agenda and minutes. He is also organizing various cultural and spiritual events in Temples including volunteering in other events.
3. Rohit Patil: Youth and Children Committee Lead. He is organizing various youth and children events such as Balgokulum, Ganesh pooja by kids act. He also helps in Kitchen in major events. He pointed out that in major festivals we should decorate the outside of the temple with lights and flyers to show that some major festival is going on.
4. Arun Sharma: Major Festival Committee Lead. He has taken the responsibility of major festival organizing.  Arun Sharma will lead the next major event.
5. Jay Dodda:  Parking Committee Lead .He is managing the parking in major events and then helping in other areas.
6. Ganesh Prakesh: Membership and Library Committee Lead. He is taking care of new membership. He has composed a letter for new members and that has been approved. Now he is preparing a package to be sent to the new members. He needs a list of donors who are eligible for becoming new members so that he can start preparing a list of them. He needs help from our President to get that list of eligible members. He also pointed out that Temple should have the office Mgr in every evening especially in the week-end to attend devotees call. He also encouraged each EC member to spend few hours each week in the Temple for helping in various areas.
7. Gopal Ayengar: Religious Advice and Back up priest. He is taking care of spiritual and religious advice to devotees. He is also back up for priest when they are not available for the services.
8. Yamini G: Senior and Spiritual Program Lead. She is doing senior program for once a month. She is also doing some spiritual programs. Now she is working on bringing Dr.Ramanathan to the temple for a spiritual program.
9. Devraj Sharma: Kitchen and Temple Day-Today activity Lead. He is doing everything and he needs some relief. It was suggested that office mgr should take up some of his responsibility to get some outside job done like purchases. President need to look at this.
10. Raj Gupta:Part of Religious Committee. He is ready to help other areas and major events.
11. Chitra and Gayatri: Outside Events Lead. They are working on organizing a big fund raising event outside the temple sometime in January,2011.They are preparing their report with all the details and will submit to the EC in next meeting. Youth group will help them in organizing this event.

5.       Hema Maredy: She talked about few other issues like 2^nd cook for the kitchen is necessary, simple way of preparing Prasad, paying overtime to the office employee when they are working more than 8 hours.

6.       She also talked about Kitchen development including prasadam. Kitchen cleanup with all the spices in their own containers neatly labeled and placed in the cabinets. The whole spices should be in containers that are labeled.

7.       We did not have enough time to finish our agenda items.
