Minutes of Meeting:
1. Prayer: 9.10am
2. President's Briefing: EC meeting on first Saturday of each month is approved by all.
1. Dancing on stage: Majority agreed not to have on stage but we need to find an alternative till then it is allowed.
2. Sarees for Navaratri: Offering sarees and taking back is allowed. If saree is used for draping then it is not allowed to take back. It will become Temple property.
3. Volunteer: We have a list of volunteers and list of task. Everything will be managed by office mgr. Karsevak word is not going to be used anymore and we will use word volunteering instead. It was objected by some members.
4. Web site: We need some upgrade to update regularly. Subu is working on it.
5. Sitting in the office: If there is no office work, you are doing please do not sit in the office.
No eating in the office is allowed. Motion by Dugalji, 2nded by Nitya. Motion was approved.
6. Last Minutes of Meeting. Proposed by Nitya, 2nded by Jay .It got approved by all.
7. Safety & Security: Siva is included in Comm. Need to post where we have the first aid box and emergency contact numbers. We need to fix our security cameras and fix parking lights.
8. Religious Com: Hemaji. We need volunteers for Navaratri. Navaratri Poster is made by Dugalji.It looks good and we can use this every year.
9. Fund Raising:Hemaji: Coins are donated for raising funds.
10.Temple Closing Policy: Priests are responsible. We need better system.
11. Membership Com.:Ganeshji needs list of eligible members for becoming new members.Dugalji will help on this.
12.Cultural Com.:Hemaji.NAVARATRI programs are going well.
13.Web Com.: Subu .We need to go to professional to manage the web site but there should be list of stuff do before we appoint any professional. Subu is making plan with Khris and Raman
14.Kitchen Com: Menu for each day has been finalized by Kitchen Com .Trailer has been organized and fixed with electrical connection.
15. Major Event Com. Chitra. Presented her program which she had sent out by separate e-mail. They all look good. We need to fix the program date either Feb 5th or 12th.
16.Senior Com.Yamini. Yoga class was very good. She needs more volunteer for transportation.
17.Temple Looks:Mohan.He is working on Painting outside of Temple. He, being the Project Mgr. will provide a complete report.
18. Spirutuality Com: Dugalji and Yaminiji working to bring Dr.Ramanujan
19. Tent: We need to buy the poles before Navaratri.
20. Log book for Office Mgr and EC members and Volunteer: Ganesh: we need a Action item list. We also need to follow up.
21. Removal of Flyers on Walls and Doors: Gopalji raised this issue. New board is being put for display in one area.
22. Meeting was adjourned at 11.05AM with prayers.
